nt_multi_seq
The nt_multi_seq repository now provides nt_seq, a collection of sequencer algorithms for the Expert Sleepers Disting NT. One nt_seq.o binary exposes six separate sequencers and the Seq Mix utility. Each sequencer instance has a fixed engine; add multiple instances to combine engines or run several copies of one engine.
- Seq Thorp — Pattern arpeggiator with note and velocity patterns, chain sequencing, and song/jam modes
- Seq Soma — Mutating step sequencer with note and gate mutation probabilities
- Seq Sift — Pseudo-random CV and threshold-sifted gates, with independent sequence selection and bit depth
- Seq Markov — Markov-chain melodic generator with eight behavioral styles
- Seq Ferro — Tape-loop chord builder with layered melody, loop trigger, and record gate roles
- Seq Quantum — Hierarchical generative sequencer with motif, transformation, and large-form cycles
- Seq Mix — Combine pitch, gate, and velocity from 1–8 sequencers, with scale quantization and optional sample and hold
Sequencers share scale controls using .scl microtuning files, CV or MIDI output routing, and clock division. See the repository for current installation and engine-specific controls.
