Tin Ear is a real-time binaural spatial audio plugin for the Expert Sleepers Disting NT, optimized for ARM Cortex-M7. It positions mono audio sources in 3D virtual space using custom HRTF processing with no external audio library dependencies.
Features include azimuth (-180 to +180 degrees), elevation (-90 to +90 degrees), and distance (1-100m) control with smooth parameter interpolation. The DSP pipeline includes interaural time delay, interaural level difference, head-shadow filtering, pinna effect simulation, early reflections, and air absorption for realistic spatial positioning.
